Dr. Dale Brockman is a Madison native and was drawn to the Chiropractic profession because of it's non-invasive and natural approach to health. After suffering a an injury to his lower back playing basketball in college he took the advice of a good friend and made an appointment with a local Chiropractor. In just two visits he was so impressed and pain free he decided to investigate various Chiropractic schools and made a switch from the pre-Optometry program to a pre-Chiropractic path and has since... never looked back. Dr. Brockman believes innately in taking care of thy-self naturally and working with the body & mind to heal itself through moving, eating and thinking well.
Dr. Brockman has been helping decrease peoples pain, and assisting them to a greater state of wellness for over 15 years. As a Chiropractor, he is committed to promoting the health and well-being of his patients in the greater Madison Wisconsin area. Dr. Brockman is known by his patients for his no-nonsense approach towards achieving and maintaining optimal health and he believes people just need to be educated in the simple ways of living well...to stay well.
Dr. Brockman has certification through the International Chiropractic Association in the treatment of whiplash and spinal trauma injuries as it relates to Chiropractic, and is an associate with the Loomis Institute of Enzyme Nutrition in Madison
By combining manual or hands-on spinal adjusting techniques, physiotherapy procedures, nutrition and postural/exercise advice as well as providing educational tools for his patients Dr. Brockman's back & wellness center offers a full spectrum of services. Chiro-Med is also the only facility in Dane County using Lordex spinal decompressive therapy technology for certain types of lower back pain syndromes and conditions
Besides maintaining a busy practice on Madison's westside, Dr. Brockman has served as health editor with various publications and companies over the years in the area's of general health guidance/education, and has written for various publications on topics from back and postural health to nutrition. In the recent past he co-developed Madison Health Online which was designed as an internet educational tool to empower the mind of the consumer in the ways of wellness
